Students interacting with farmers to understand their pain-points as a part of the design process
On day one, students were introduced to basics of design process and given exposure to interviewing skills thats required while gaining customer insights. It was their first ever interaction with a farmers / shop-keepers in a non-transactional way. The students were made to interact with each other in the group to enable better communication among the group members

Students giving feedback after a session on problem identification at disability center
The students had their introduction to arduino and programming. They got their first
hardware component and code working. Then they were at the Vocational training
center to identify problems in the space of disability. The students were surprised to see
the common challenges faced by the differently-abled.

Day 3 - Problem statement formation | Secondary data gathering | Documentation
Students brainstorming for finding solutions to the problems they identified at the disability center
The day began with brainstorming and was followed by concept generation,
prototyping and concept selection. Initially quantity of ideas were focused
and later quality of the ideas were focused to come up with great
concepts. We had a senior student giving introduction to android programming to the students

Day 4 - Brainstorming | Concept Generations | Concept selection | Prototyping
Students got to meet an entrepreneur from the local ecosystem to understand the struggle and joy of an entrepreneurial journey.
Students were introduced to Business models and prototyping. The teams came up with great initial concepts and prototypes and presented at the end of the day
Day 5 - Business Modelling | Guest entrepreneur talk | Prototyping
Innovation101
Mr. Paul Anand from Biotz, sharing his entrepreneurial journey with students
Day 6 - Prototyping glitches | Video lectures | Presentation
Prototyping was continued and the students got their hardware up and running on this day. Some of them
were stuck with at the concept stage. They understood the real meaning to prototyping when they were hung up
with challenges while prototyping

Clockwise from top-left. : Guest lecture by Mr. Ajith, Prof. Rao, team presentations and outing
Feedback from Students
It helped me do things beyond what I thought I would never do. It helped me to push my thinking far from my limit
Innovation101
The main thing which the workshop aimed is to grab every opportunity what you get, don't WAIT.
The major things that i have learnt from the workshop is that the society have a lot problems to solve. We can solve these problems only if we try it.
I learnt how to solve a problem, and that jumping into a solution quickly is not always the best way
I never expected I would help the differently-abled with the projects we are working on. I learned to work in a team
and the methodology to find and solve problems
