What we did- build libraries

Physical Library

Brought close to 300 books

Cleaned the room, whitewashed the wall, organised and catalogued the books

Digital Library

900+ Educational videos, e-books and offline wikipedia

What we did- bring technology

Brought 1 desktop and 1 laptop where digital library can be loaded

Brought 1 projector that can be used with laptop for teaching

Drafted a curriculum for teachers to integrate projector use into syllabus

Inspirational leadership talk with case studies of successful leaders from similar background

Proposal-writing skills

Close mentorship of about 1-4 ratio

Winning plan of biz comp will be adopted as a “CCA” and awarded prizes

Budget and commitment

Airfare to Nepal costs about $900+ 1/week for official meeting

Additional tasks to complete on your own

Be prepared to commit fully

Expect more meet-ups leading up to trip

Stayover camp leading up to trip to finalise all details

Project cost approximately $1500 through fundraising
