Searching for the Desert Pupfish

After our first glimpse of a pupfish at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Range,

we were hooked. We searched many a hidden pool or small creek extruding

from the desert and even extended our search west of Death Valley to Owen’s

Valley in the shadow of Mt Whitney.
