Can’t see my Artboard What if I can’t find the artboard? Solution:

View>Fit Artboard in Window Might also try zooming out using Zoom tool (Or use shortcut key Ctrl+ and

Primitive Shapes

Drawing Shapes (1) Click and drag

stroke…click and type on the artboard the desired size. Shift-drag a perfect yellow square 3” x 3” with a pale blue 5 pt stroke.

Use the transform tool to resize the circle 3 x 3

The Arrows

The black arrow (Called Selection) selects an entire shape. The white arrow, ( Direct Select) part of a shape.

Click the Black arrow and “click away” …i.e.in a blank area (Chooses nothing)

Choose white arrow and click an any anchor point, now drag it:

Layers:Windows>Layers

Pathfinder: centering

Select the two shapes to be centered (Shift-select) second one

Look for align vertical centers and align center horizontal
