Identification and Recruitment (ID&R) Responsibilities

What are a Recruiter’s Responsibilities?

• Number one responsibility: Make correct eligible and ineligible determinations for MEP

Responsibilities

• Identification Identification means determining the

location and presence of migrant children.

• Recruitment Recruitment means making contact

with migrant families, explaining the MEP, securing the necessary information to make a determination that the child is eligible for the MEP, and recording the basis of the child's eligibility on a COE or like form.

More than just ID&R!• Interview Possible Migrant Families

• Complete Certificate of Eligibility (COEs) Following ESSA Regulations

• Give MyOn Assessment to eligible students

• Create/Update student’s profile and COEs in our state database

• Participate in Phone ConferencesRegionalState

• Utilize Migrant Students Exchange Information (MSIX) to search for student mobility

• Verify Certificates of Eligibility for your Regional Partner

More than just ID&R!• Complete reports & Constant

Communication with Regional State

• Attend meetings and Trainings Regional State ESCORT

• Maintain a good relationship with farmers and crew leaders
