Projects available• Developing Skills in integrating Word• Intermediate Word and Databases• Basic spreadsheets and charts• Developing skills in using Publisher• PowerPoint and peripherals• Memories on TV• Virtually Archibald – ICT in Visual Arts

(Stage 3)

Project format• 2 or 3 half-day workshops (3.30 –

6.30 pm)• Planning time (half or full day)

– Participants work in groups to develop lessons/lesson plans that integrate ICT

• 2 hr project evaluation meeting – term 4

Project structure• Workshop 1 focuses on how to use

the software• Workshop 2 focuses on how to

integrate the software into teaching and learning programs

• Planning day focuses on participants developing lesson plans on using the software

• Project evaluation to guide future projects and project format/structure

Project aims• To improve the ICT skills of teachers• To assist teachers in the integration of

ICT into teaching and learning programs

• To provide useful strategies and resources in the integration of ICT skills

• To develop a bank of resources that can be shared with schools within and beyond Sydney Region
