So now what to do ???

TYPE TRAINING/PRACTICAL TRAINING

Definition of “Minimum Mandatory Tasks” for Practical Training

The “Master Parameter” should not be the duration but the content

Standardization of all Practical Training under JAR/ECAR (PART)-147 criteria

Avoidance of the need of two separate responsible organisations (147-MTO and 145-MO)

“Case by case” review by authority after approved training is not necessary

H. Kavka October 23rd, 2003

Page 9

The goal should be:

TYPE TRAINING/PRACTICAL TRAINING

After satisfactorily completion of such an approved “complete” training course (even performed in different training organisations) the issue of an Aircraft Maintenance License should be no problem

The 145-MO should “work in front” and the 147-MTO should “train” primarily
