Aim of the project
Aim of i-GAME is to:
• Speed up real-life implementation and interoperability of wireless
communication based automated driving.
This aim can be accomplished by joint development and demonstration!
Development focusing on:
• Environmental perception, actuation and interaction
• Wireless communication
• Guaranteed safety
• Mixed-traffic operation
By demonstrating it in a multi-vendor challenge, the GCDC to:
• Accelerate multi-vendor solutions, based on an interoperable architecture
• Accelerate standardization, verification and validation tools & methods
• Enhance governmental & public awareness

1. Define automated driving use cases and scenarios (All via reference-group)
2. Implementation of communication protocols (ITS-G5) according to
the standard(s) (COMPANION and AdaptIVe?)
3. Organize joint events and possibly stakeholder meetings (All)
4. Join the i-GAME challenge!! (AdaptIVe, COMPANION)
• Form a (OEM, supplier, RTD) team to assess the implementation
