CHURCHWIDE MISSION ACTION This month our church is collecting individually wrapped snacks for the Redeemed Christian Church in West
Louisville for their summer kids program. The church prepares lunches
for approximately 40 kids weekly. Please place your donated snacks on table
outside church library.
Suggested snacks: cookies, cheese and peanut butter crackers, fruit roll-ups,
chips, and drink boxes.
Attention Graduates Please provide your senior picture and your future plans to the church office by Sunday, May 3rd. Also, please let us know if you, or a loved one, are graduating from college or graduate school. Email info to: cgibson@hurstbournebc.org.
Kids Summer Camp is July 9-11 at Country Lake in Henryville, IN. The camp is open to children entering 1st grade though entering 6th grade. The cost is $100 per child with a family maximum of $175. Sign up at the welcome center or see Vince for more info.
Spreading Mulch We need some help spreading mulch on Saturday, April 25th from 9am-12pm. If you are available to help, please see or call Bill Shanander at (502) 991-1622.
We are partnering with Lowe Elementary and the City of Louisville for Give-A-Day 2015. We will be collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House, which provides housing for families of critically ill children who are in a Louisville-area hospital. We will be collecting items now through April 24th. Please bring your items to the marked location in the preschool area. Food Items: breakfast cereal, ramen noodles, chips, cookies, crackers, ranch dressing, cooking spray, flour, tuna. Office Items: reams of white copy paper, colored copy paper, batteries (AA, AAA, D), Avery 5160/5262 mailing labels. Other Items: disposable cups, plates, bowls, Ziploc bags, paper lunch bags, garbage bags (10, 13, 30, 55 gallon).
Alpha Club Alpha Club will meet on April 28th at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dish to share for lunch. The program will be presented by the Friendship International Choir. See you there!
