Student Government

Student Government (SG) is the centralized student organization that acts on behalf of all HSPH students in matters concerning their education and welfare.

SG Nominations & Election Process

Nominations Open: Monday, Sept. 8th, 2014 @ 12pm

Nominations Close: Friday, Sept. 12th, 2014 @ 12pm

Polls Open: Wednesday, Sept. 17th, 2014 @ 12pm

Polls Close: Friday, Sept. 19th, 2014 @ 12pm

SG Team Announced: Monday, Sept 22nd

Nominations:

Self-nominations are accepted.

Provide your first and last name, contact email, degree program and department.

Please indicate your desired position.

Describe your background and goals for the position in a candidate statement (less than 300 words).

A photograph and the candidate statement should be emailed to OSA (studentaffairs@hsph.harvard.edu) by Friday, September 12, 2014 at 12pm.

Elections:

Students will vote via an online Qualtrics survey sent to their HSPH-affiliated emails.

Students will log-in using their HUID and can only vote once.

The Office for Student Affairs will act as the third party administrator of the nomination and voting processes.

No formal campaigns are required, however candidates often advertise verbally.
