Open web browser and your homepage appears

Type in ifttt.com

IFTTT homepage

Let’s sign up!

Enter your email

Type your password

Click Create account

This appears

A welcome page

Click this to get started

Then, click that

Click Continue

We are directed to Channels to create Recipes

Select channels that interest you

Click Continue

Let’s familiarize ourselves with the

interface

Click My Recipes

Your created Recipes appear here

Published tab

Favorites tab

Click Browse

You can browse a published Recipe here

Click Channels

Here are some Channels you can use

You can search for Channels here

Let’s create a Recipe

Click My Recipes

Click Create a Recipe

An IFTTT statement appears

Click this

Choose a trigger channel

Or search for the channel here

Let’s try clicking Facebook

Click Connect

Choose a Trigger

Notice that triggers have definitions to guide you through

Let’s choose new photo post by you

Click Create Trigger

The trigger appears

Click that

Choose an Action Channel

Let’s search Twitter

Click Twitter

Click Connect

Notice that IFTTT recognizes that you have a Twitter account

Click authorize app

Twitter channel connected

Click continue to the next step

Choose an action

Let’s select post a tweet with image

Click this icon to select an ingredient

Click this arrow down

Select an Ingredient

Let’s check if the Recipe works

Click Photo/ Video

Click Upload Photos/ Video

Select a photo

Click Open

Add a caption

Click Post

The photo is now posted

Let’s go to Twitter to check

Now, let’s try using Published Recipes by

others

Let’s search for Facebook and Evernote channels

Click Browse

Facebook status was automatically

saved in Evernote
