Where the installation begins
Create your Google Plus Account
Then, go to your Profile page
Click on the About tab
Scroll down until you spot the Links section of your About page
Click Edit
Until you reach Contributor to…
Add custom link and insert the name of your website and the URL
Click on
Continue to scroll down
Contact Information Section
Go to the Contact Information section of your Google Plus About Page- located in the left hand column next to the Contributor to section
Click on Edit
Under Work, insert the email address associated with your website or blog next to the empty box (on my Google Plus page illustrated above, its next to Phone).
Next, open the drop-down menu under Phone and change the label to Email. Click save. You will be returned to the Contact information section.
Please look for the word, verify, next to your email address. Click on verify and follow the instructions to complete the verification process. Email verification must be successfully completed to install Google Authorship on your WordPress Website

Go to your WordPress

Go to the Administrator Dashboard
Click on Users
Click on your User Profile
Find your User Profile and click on your User Name, which will open up Edit. Click on Edit
Edit User Profile
Insert the Email address associated with your website (domain)
Insert your Google Plus Profile-About page URL. You’ll find the URL by returning to your Google plus Profile ABOUT page
The URL is found in your browser window- it looks like this…https://plus.google.com/102721113298582164662/about
Continue Editing User Profile
Insert biographical information in the content box in About Yourself section
IMPORTANT- The following language must be inserted in your biographical information content box…Connect with Larry on <a href=”https://plus.google.com/u/0/102721113298582164662?rel=author”>google+</a>.
