How to Fold Your Fortune Teller

For instructions on folding, see the instructions which follow. It really is easy, and you might just remember how from your time in the playground!

Find a flat surface

Fold, white sides together

Crease along the centre line

Once creased, unfold…

Turn 90° & fold in half again

Unfold, fold diagonally, unfold

Turn 90° & fold diagonally again

Unfold & place white side up

Fold one corner into the centre

Repeat for all 4 corners

Turn over

Fold one corner into the centre

Repeat for all 4 corners

…completed

Turn over

Fold in half as shown

The folding is now finished

Insert thumb/forefinger into coloured triangular flaps

Pinch together

Repeat on other side… ta da!
