How to deal withAppraisal

---Exclusive Ltd

How to keep your staff feeling…

fully trained

You need to deal withAppraisals

Appraisal systems form part of any performance

management scheme which go towards improving the

performance of individuals, teams, departments and

therefore the overall performance of an

organisation.

Appraisal schemes can seem

like an almighty

task

and at times overwhelming

However, if this is broken down into bite

size chunks

within a project timeframe

with shared responsibilities

then this process can become much more realistic

and manageable.

Have you got the commitment from your management team/senior managers?

Will your appraisal system be linked to pay and

reward, or not?

By who and by when will a pilot scheme be ran?

Who will be trained to then train the trainers within

your business?

How will the appraisal system be communicated to all your staff?

On what date will it actually be introduced and rolled

out?

You will importantly need to spend time and effort in forming a structured appraisal process…

…ensuring that each and every appraisal meeting

held is fair and consistent

Concentrating on individual objectives

individual behaviours

and individual development

requirements which fit in with the needs of the

business.

The meeting should be two-way by both appraise and

appraiser
