To most clubs their insignias are their pride and glory, so they try to display them in any way they can to establish their name. They place them on pins, on shirts, on banners, and sometimes they even order their own club ties for their members to wear. Please visit http://www.jamesmortonties.co.uk/ for more information.

How We Can Properly Clean Silk Ties So They Last Longer

here are a few tips to remember so you can still save your tie:

Water may clean anything else, but avoid using it on a silk tie. ● Use a clean dry cloth to remove food chunks or excess liquid and wait until

you go home to properly clean it. Completely avoid water at all costs.

Using rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol is a good way to remove stains on your tie which are acquired from non-greasy foods or liquids like drinks.

1) Dampen a piece of cloth with rubbing alcohol and use it to blot out the stain. 2) Once the stain is removed, dry it with a hair dryer. 3) Repeat this process for stains that are more stubborn.

Talcum powder is best for food stains that are greasy, which is slightly trickier to remove.

1) Use a clean cloth to blot out excess food until only the grease stain is left. 2) Lay a towel on a flat surface and place your tie on that towel. 3) Sprinkle the talcum powder on the stain and leave it there overnight to allow the grease to be absorbed. 4) The following morning use a clean, dry cloth to remove the powder.

To keep your tie in place while eating, you may wear tie pins or something similar to avoid stains. It is best to exercise caution while wearing a tie, hopefully though these tips may help you in times of need.
