Transcript of How Organa Labs Oil Co2 Critical Extraction Works

Like most things, a high-quality cannabis oilstarts with the ingredients. All raw materialthat is extracted by Organa Labs for use inO.penVAPE branded products is sourced fromhigh-quality, locally grown cannabis (trim or bud)with regulatory compliance in mind.

We choose supercritical CO2

extraction to create all of our cannabis oilsbecause of its ability to separate the

cannabinoids, terpenes and other non-polar components from the plant material,

leaving behind a very pure cannabis oilwith no harmful residual solvents.

Winterization is a freezing process using ethanol, that cannabis oil goes through after extraction to both filter and cleanse the cannabinoids and terpenes from unwanted plant matter such as waxes, fats, lipids and chlorophyll. This process creates a more pure and clarified oil.

The process of converting THC-A to THC isreferred to as a decarboxylation process.

THC-A is a non-psychoactive compoundin cannabis. The process of decarboxylation

relies on two factors: time and temperature. This process allows cannabis to reach it’s

full psychoactive potential.

The final step of our refinement process,a proprietary carbon filtration process, helps to create the purity and clarity uniqueto our oil products. This process removes unwanted chlorophylls, anthocyanins, water soluble vacuolar pigments, undesirable flavors and even heavy metals that may be present from soil used in the growing process.

The final step in the O.penVAPE/Organa Labs process, before products

hit the shelves, is Quality Assurance. O.penVAPE has an in-house analytical lab

that monitors and controls potency/ cannabinoid levels throughout the

extraction process for the highest level of Quality Assurance in the finished product.
