PREPARATION  Each  team  member  completes  online  the  confiden3al  self-‐assessment  (www.belbin.com),  and  iden3fies  observers.  The  observers  provide  their  input  online,  focusing  on  behaviors  (“what  we  do”)  and  not  on  personali3es  (“who  we  are”).      TEAM  WORKSHOP  Each  workshop  is  different,  and  is  designed  based  on  the  team’s  priori3es.  Par3cipants  receive  their  Belbin®  Team  Role  report  and  get  a  beIer  understanding  of  how  they  see  themselves,  and  how  others  see  them.  They  share  their  strengths,  areas  for  improvement  and  give  and  receive  feedback.  Similari3es  and  gaps  between  self  and  observer  assessments  are  analyzed  and  discussed  through  a  mix  of  one-‐on-‐one  conversa3ons,  small  team  discussions  and  group  sessions.  These  exchanges  lead  to  in-‐depth  personal  and  team  learning.  At  the  end  of  the  workshop,  par3cipants  develop  a  personalized  development  plan  to    op3mize  their  interac3ons  with  other  team  members.

Belbin®  Team  Roles:  a  powerful  tool  to  help  teams  improve  performance  Teams  are  oDen  stuck  in  busy-‐ness  mode,  absorbed  in  rouJnes,  meeJngs  and  urgencies.  The  difference  between  high  performance  and  average  teams  lies  not  in  how  well  individuals  execute  their  tasks,  but  in  how  the  team  deals  with  the  challenges  that  come  its  way.

Is  your  team  well  balanced  ?  Do  team  members  acknowledge  each  other’s  strengths  ?  Do  they  ask  for  help  to  compensate  for  their  weaknesses  ?  Do  they  give  genuine  feedback  about  what  holds  the  team  back  ?

Belbin®  Team  Roles  is  a  simple  yet  powerful  tool  that  enhances  individuals’  self-‐awareness,  and  an  understanding  of  how  others  see  them  in  the  team.  Belbin®  Team  Roles  focuses  on  behaviors  within  a  team,  not  on  personali3es  (like  psychometric  tools).  It  iden3fies  individuals’  strengths,  and  how  these  compare  with  the  others  in  the  team.

FOR  WHO  ?  Any  team  can  make  progress.  The  Belbin®  Team  Roles  methodology  is  the  founda3on  of  the  team  session,  and  the  actual  content  is  developed  around  each  team’s  specific  needs.

FORMAT  1-‐2  days,  with  teams  of  up  to  25  members.  Sessions  can  be  run  in  English  or  Thai,  or  a  mix.

ACCREDITED  BELBIN®  FACILITATOR  Team  sessions  are  custom-‐designed  and  delivered  by  Peter  Cauwelier,  accredited  Belbin®  Team  Roles  facilitator  and  founder  of  ASIO  Consul3ng.
