CCSD Diploma Types Students in the Class of 2016 must pass all Nevada High
School Proficiencies Examinations
Standard Diploma– fulfill standard graduation requirements
Advanced Diploma– fulfill standard graduation requirements plus additional credits and required minimum 3.25 without Bonus Points GPA
Advanced Honors Diploma– fulfill Advanced Diploma requirements and the prescribed Honors AP/IB classes, and 3.25 GPA without Bonus Points and 3.85 GPA with Bonus Points minimum GPA
Adjusted Diploma– fulfill requirements stated in IEP
Adult High School Diploma- fulfills the requirements for graduation through Adult Ed
HSE- High School Equivalency Certificate (formerly GED)

How to Read a Transcript

Grade Point Average (GPA) GPA is determined by finding the
grade average of all classes on the transcript
Weighted /Grade Point Average Honors, AP, or IB courses will receive
extra weighting (Bonus Points) on top of the cumulative GPA ◦ Honors - .025 for no more than 28
semesters or 14 classes ◦ AP or IB - .050 for 4 semesters
maximum and .025 for remaining up to 24 semesters or 12 classes
