OVAR Rally setup

• Setup used 141 Module Sections.• Mainline was 542’ or 8.93 scale miles.• Branch lines were 404’ or 6.65 scale miles in 7

separate branches.• There were 146 sidings.

Some might think it’s a load of scrap

Others think we’re out of our Vulcan minds.

But we find it fun just to play around and enjoy our time

Everything is modular and designed to fit together

Some of our members like to give orders

Some of us just wander around the layout

Some are worker bees

But we enjoy the fruits of our labour. HONEY!

And then sell it to make a buck!

Good food solves a lot of problems

Honest, it’s a family restaurant!

Somehow, alcohol always gets involved!

….but it’s not just trains, it can be trucks

….or buildings

….or scenes

We like to show off our best

But sometimes things go wrong with our best

And Rarely REALLY REALLY Wrong. Ooops!

But we make the best of those mishaps

Sometimes we have communications problems

Occasionally the police get involved

But vandalism still occurs

We try to be prototypical….

Here….the Italians went on strike!

We shop at Canadian Tire, and Princess Auto

We have passengers waiting at creative stations

Though we’re still looking for passengers at our main terminal

We do freight

And we do BIG freight

We do Passenger

Any era

Any age

Any road

Any continent

Local

Not so local

Any time of day

Late Afternoon

Or early evening

Or night

Any season, like Spring

Summer

Fall

Nuclear Winter

Anywhere……and I mean anywhere???

We’re on the almost straight!

And narrow

Some of us may be looking for god

And occasionally the hand of god does visit!

But we call him Jacques!

Once you’re hooked

You need to feed your need

We don’t just stand around

We love to tell big fish stories

But the best part is just sitting around and chatting with good friends

But not necessarily ALL together!!!
