a imed at complementing our 45 year history of

horseshoe crab conservat ion. ACC introduces a Horseshoe

Crab Susta inabi l i ty Project that wi l l help ensure a stable supply

of horseshoe crabs now and for future generat ions to come.

Working with local regulators and having received a c lass 1 type

4 aquaculture permit and ut i l iz ing a patent pending process, ACC

col lects HSC eggs, fert i l izes, grows and strategical ly re leases

horseshoe crabs back into their natural environment. This

program only ut i l izes eggs col lected from bait crabs that

are sacr i f iced for the eel , conch

and whelk f isher ies, extending

their genet ic legacy for

generat ions to come.
