Lunch and Museum VisitLadies of Harley are meeting at Aunt Hattie's Tea
Room, 1810 W. Douglas for lunch. Aunt Hattie’s
sounds like a quaint and fun place with a terrific
menu. Meet us there at 11:00 am and we'll be their
first diners of the day!. After that we'll go to the
Wichita Art Museum, 1400 W. Museum Blvd. The
Dale Chihuly exhibit in the entry way is worth the trip
in itself - and we will have our own Guide to show us
the Museum highlights along with the Civil War
exhibit currently showing. For head count sake -
would appreciate a call anytime before March 7th if
you can join the fun.
Thanks, Bobbie Morrison 729-1958

March Monthly RideThis will be the first monthly ride of the year, weather
permitting. We will gather at the south K-mart at 47th
street south and Broadway. Meet on the north side of
the building. At noon Joe Hopkins will take us on a ride
down through Latham, Kansas on the way to Winfield,
Kansas where we will have a late lunch or early dinner
at Calaways around 2:00 pm. Plan on joining the group
for the first ride of the season so we can Ride and
Have Fun.
How Cold Is It?For those who ride in the winter, it can’t be stressed
enough to dress warmly. Hypothermia is a silent enemy
that sneaks up on you when the sun starts to set and
the temperature drops. Dressing in layers is the best
way to handle varying temperatures. Below is a chart
that can determine the wind chill. If you are riding at 50
MPH and the temperature is 40 degrees, the wind chill
factor is 9.3 degrees. Check out different factors at the
website: www.motorcyclecity.com/chill.htm

12 cheerful LOH forced sunshine into a dreary rainy
day on Saturday the 19th. Barb, Bev, Carol, Connie,
Kathie, Kathryn, Linda, Marilyn, Mel, Patsy, Sandy &
Bobbie met at The Artichoke for sandwiches and
conversation and then braved the parking fun
downtown to visit the Historical Museum. The food
was scrumptious and the museum a perfect setting
for visiting history & getting to know each other
better. Everybody had a favorite treasure in the
museum and we all were surprised to discover the
beautiful interior and fun displays inside the museum
right here in Wichita. It was a 4-wheel adventure but
we did Ride and Have Fun!
