In 2013, 13,038 Fatalities Occurred in Rural Locations.

8,079 Fatalities Occurred in Urban Locations. 51 Percent Killed in Rural Locations Were

Unrestrained; Compared to 46 Percent in Urban Locations.

In 2013, 59 Percent of Unrestrained Vehicle Occupants Were Killed at Night (6 pm – 5:59

am).
