Altitude Illness

Common among those who live in lower altitude areas

Go down to a lower altitude right away

More severe cases; go down 1,500 to 2,000 ft

Let your body adjust and climb slowly

Don’t ignore signs of altitude illness

Increase fluid intake and avoid alcohol
