The berry itself has a low sugar content and a mildly sweet tang. It contains a glycoprotein molecule, with some trailing carbohydrate chains, called miraculin. When the fleshy part of the fruit is eaten, this molecule binds to the tongue's taste buds, causing sour foods to taste sweet. It is simply not true for most women, and I want to celebrate the balance of life and family. My main purpose for this blog is to inspire other women to make the healthiest choices for their families and have their own identity apart from their children. Clearly, from our family choices I do not mean spend less time with family.
