Trend BackstoryOne of the most basic philosophical wonders that baffles humanity is the concept of whether or not humans are inherently wicked. A classic debate of nature vs. nurture, it is undeniable that there continues to be a fascination with the dark side of existence. This is proving to be a popular theme in contemporary film, television, and literature. The enormous success of dramas with misguided characters supports that we find villains exciting and darkly delicious. Perhaps evil is just a way to break from the monotony of everyday life and a chance to explore our own hidden fascinations and curiosities.
carolinehesshessco@mail.uc.edu
“it’s comfortable for us to view deviance through a screen or on the pages of a book because it
allows us to tap into the dark side without any associated risks. ”
Colors and Materials Both warm and cool neutrals offset by pops of blue and red, representative of good and evil.

MarketingaTENSION will be sold exclusively online in its launch stage, since this will minimize initial investment costs while the brand’s reputation is established. Eventually, the line will expand and standalone boutiques will also house this brand.
Consumer ProfileJack wants what he wants. The values of today’s society do not nourish Jack’s human spirit or allow him to properly connect with the rest of humanity. As much as he desires to be noble for the benefit of the whole, culture propels him to pursue individual happiness.

This promotes less consumption!• Only natural dyes are used, and only superior fabrics are utilized that uphold through many years of wear and tear.
