TANITA Body Scan

TANITA Body Scan uses a new 4-point measurement technology that enables accurate fat analysis of the whole body and even fat around the internal organs.

What is Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) method? Tissues containing much water such as muscles, blood vessels, and bones are highly conductive with electricity, but fat tissues are not. Therefore, by using this principle, it is possible to determine the ratio of fat tissue compared to other tissues in the body by measuring the electric resistance of the body tissues, using extremely weak electric current applications to the body

4

Over Weight and Obesity

Being overweight and more so obese can put you at an increased risk for up to thirty medical conditions, some deadly.

They include gallbladder disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, stroke, sleep apnea, and even cancer.

Other effects on health include gout, an impaired immune system, respiratory problems, difficulty healing from wounds, reproductive disorders that cause infertility, liver disease, back pain, gynecological complications, pancreatitis, and incontinence

Visceral Fat percentage

Visceral fat, also called intra-abdominal fat, refers to the fat that surrounds the internal organs.

Studies have shown that those with visceral fat are more susceptible to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and hypertension.

Sedentary people, smokers and drinkers have been shown to have more intra-abdominal fat, or visceral fat, than active people who are non-smokers and non-drinkers. Stress may also be a factor in the storage of visceral fat on the body.

16

Food is what we eat when we are hungry and even when we are not hungry!

Nutrition is what our body needs on a daily basis to stay healthy

What is Food & Nutrition?

17

Healthy Diet?

18

Official information and standard recommendations don’t help to lose weight, but aggravate the situation

First of all, it’s the Food pyramid which recommends to get 60% of our

nutrition from carbs.

For example, the American association of beef producers recommends

feeding cows 60% carbs for increasing their weight.

So if the recommendations are similar, how come cows are supposed to gain weight, and people are not?
