Work To Date

• On March 7, 2007 the IOWAccess Advisory Council awarded IDNR $20,000 for the Planning Phase of the HSI Database Conversion Project.

• HSI Database Conversion workgroup began meeting with ITE on April 19th.

• Planning Phase complete on June 15th.

• Web application needs laid out and concepts developed.

• Use of recently developed code from other IOWAccess projects explored.

• Inter-connectivity of HSI application to Iowa One-Stop application explored and concepts developed.

• Heartland Emergency Response Exchange (HERE) project connectivity explored.

• Develop the web front-end mockups– To insure all the tools are available as

planned– To insure the web page is easy to understand

and use.– To insure page meets all IT design

standards

HERE fields (to insure connectivity)– To insure existing database can be

migrated with the least amount of

need most– To insure reports are flexible to accommodate

many different types of data requests.– To insure internal reports provide

staff with actionable information.
