Mountain Climate
Mountains can be dangerous places to be if bad weather arrives. For every 100m you climb uphill, it gets 1˚C colder. So for every 1000m you go uphill it gets 10˚C colder. You must complete the temperature for each height on the diagram.

Mountain Animals
Match up the following 6 mountain animals with their description

1) It is dark brown which helps to absorb
more heat from the sun. It lives high up in
the Himalayas and eats tiny grains of pollen
blown by the wind. Letter = ___
2) Its thick woolly coat is very warm but
sometimes it gets too hot so it also has bare
legs. To cool down, it sticks its bum in the
air facing the wind! It spits chewed up food
at its enemies and lives in the Andes.
