The Energy Wise Cities
The project aims to boost the role of the cities towards international example areas of energy-efficient housing, zeroenergy construction, diversified energy systems, energy efficiency monitoring and end user guidance.
The Energy Wise Cities project will improve the energy efficiency and use of renewable energy in existing areas and buildings.

Health and Wellbeing
Experimenting AI in identifying individuals in need of support
• Tieto and the city of Espoo jointly handled a mass of data consisting of client relationship data (social and health care and early childhood education data) of the entire population of Espoo for the years 2002–2016 and covered approx. more than 37 million customer contacts.
• The aim was to discover service paths to determine factors that should be focused on to prevent the social exclusion of residents.
