Project must be able to store gumballs

Gumballs must land in the bottom tray without falling out.

Top Piece -Preparing Center

1. Draw two straight lines from corner to corner.2. Receive approval for layout from your teacher.3. Mark the center of the top piece with an awl.4. Prepare for drilling a 1” hole on the top piece.

Side Pieces-Layout for Dowel Hole

1. Find the center from top to bottom on both side pieces.

2. Draw the line.3. Measure and

layout 2 ½” from the top to find the center of the dowel hole.

4. Receive approval of layout.

5. Center punch center for drilling.

Bottom-Layout for Tray Hole

1. Measure and mark the center at 2” on the base plate.

2. Draw a straight line from end to end.3. Measure and mark 1 ¼” to find the center of

the tray.4. Receive approval for layout from the teacher.5. Center punch center for the 1 ¼” hole.
