Basic factsMadrid is the capital of Spain.

It is a big city, it has a lot of population and nice tourist places to visit.

It has about 604.3 km ² of surface and its population ascends up to 3,165 million.

Where to goThere are many places to visit in Madrid such as the Plaza Mayor, the Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.

Other famous sites like the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the Alcalá Gate and the Cibeles square are also very popular with tourists.

What to doYou can do many interesting things in Madrid like going to the famous amusement park The Warner or visiting some impressive art museums.

Madrid has also a very good gastronomy so you can taste traditional spanish dishes or cutting-edge cuisine visiting its many restaurants.
