ex. Structure, GDP per capita, exchange rate

2. The United State is the strongest country in HARD POWER field and China, Korea and Japan are just follower.

NEA can cooperate

in the soft power field

HARD POWER

What is soft power?

Soft power is concept within international relations that refers to power which comes from economic or cultural means, not military means.

Culture has a value.

Soft power can be negotiating power.

What do we have as SOFT POWER?

Culture ( language, ethnic groups, music, animation, cartoon, dramas, movies, dance)

Historical heritage ( Long history, ancient sites, traditional crafts)

Philosophy ( daoism, confucianism, buddism)

However…

KOREA, CHINA and JAPAN

are NOT cooperating enough!

Lack of skill of exporting our culture in various kinds of area

Historical wound

Focusing on nationalism,

Education

~in the soft power field~ Why aren’t we cooperating?

If Korea, China and Japan

cooperate….

INCENTIVE

JAPAN 1 . Get to know how to export products or service

(China and Korea are good at exporting recently)

2. Make a rule in content field

(decrease the number of copy products)

INCENTIVE

KOREA 1.Spread the Korean culture with the power

from China and Japan

2. Mix the Asian traditional culture and Western culture with the power of China and Japan

3. Through the cultural coorperation, Korea also can get the economical and political power.

INCENTIVE

CHINA 1. settle down the conflicts.

2. can make traditional heritage outstanding.

3. more choice to consume (there will be more export and import)

4. improve our GDP
