The Green Key Soc i e t y ’s

New Mission StatementA social and community service organization, The Green Key Society serves to promote school spirit, to welcome and mentor new students, and to support ALL student endeavors while upholding our values of Excellence, Integrity, and Compassion.

The Green Key, located in the basement of Ellsworth, serves as Reserve’s Student Center. It is operated and maintained by the Green Key Society members.

Membership is open to all seniors with an application process at the end of their junior year; members must be in good academic standing, desire to be supportive role models, and share a sense of humor with the ability to laugh at themselves.

Responsibilities include:

During Orientation,

Welcome New Students

to the following events:

a. Cheer, greet, and welcome them on Move-

In Day at various dorms

b. Cheer as they exit Chapel for the first time.

c. Accompany New Keys to the

Ice-Cream Social on the first night.

d. Escort New Keys to Top Secret GKS NIGHT BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS SPECIAL EVENT.

During the school year, Support Student Endeavors - encourage your New Students to attend the following events:

– Fine Arts performances, Theatrical Productions,

GREEN KEY GAMES, Dances and Mixers

– Special Events – esp. the NEW FALL FEST,

The Winter Carnival, and the NEW Spring Fling

– Green Key events hosted in the Green Key – TGIF

STUDY BREAK and LIVE MUSIC TUESDAYS

At the Dad’s Club Party, The Green Key Society

raised $34,000

to help remodel

The Green Key Student Center!

The Green Key Societyis a large, diverse group of

Spirited Seniors making a positive impact on the

Reserve Community,

and having a lot of fun

in the process.
