The General tab was designed to load the quickest of all the tabs. The Images tab is the worst, because the reporting form images are HUGE.

The log file is a file the tracks all/ nearly all the things happening in the program: like adding & editing, deleting, changing account numbers, batch processes like recalculation, prior history, address verification, editing pricing tables, VCS Export, and many more items.

The best time to clear it is when you are ready to start a new year. This way you have a record of all the years changes.

A quick way to view the log for a particular account is on the Account “Status and Flags” tab.

sort through every year. If something is important to keep. Put it in the notes. Over time, as the log file gets bigger, the slower your system will get.
