Sign into Google •Gmail or iGoogle will both work•YouTube is a Google account

Once logged into Google

•Go to the top navigation bar•Click on More•Look for Sites

Select CREATE

Name Your Site:•IR (Industrial Revolution)•POWER (Topic)•P5 (Period) •IRPOWERP5

Choose a Blank Template OR Browse the gallery for some custom designed templates.

Enter a search or Browse for custom templates

If you choose to make your own template – Select a Theme

Final steps:•Choose privacy options•Recommend only share with people you specify•Type in the code

•NOTE: You will need to enter the code 2 times

•Click CREATE

Enjoy the beauty of your web site!

Edit and New Page features are Icons on the right.

Name your new page

Select a Navigation location for your new page

Edit your page with the features at the top!

Insert Images, Links, Charts, Photos or Check More Gadgets for other ideas.

Search for Gadgets that ENHANCE the content of your topic.

Change the layout! •Web design tip – Consistency is best across the pages & site!

Check under More for other options:

•Manage Site •Sharing & Permissions•Page Settings

Features under Page Settings

Don’t forget to make sure your group members & teachers have access permissions!

Keep it private BUT add the people who need to edit & view!

Make sure you have the Link to share the site!
