Google docs as a time optimizer for our classes.

It has been a while since I have implemented the use of Google Docs in the form of a single document

where I keep all the online material I share with my students as well as the homework or feedback

derived from it. It turned out that the possibility to have a virtual space where to share with the teacher

resulted in more practice from the part of my students and encouraged them to embark on self

regulated learning as well.

Depending on the students´ needs Google Docs has allowed me to keep a record of all the content I deal

with in class, it has saved me planning time and more importantly, it has given my students a safe

notepad where to play with the language, to revise the class material and to add their own favourite

sites. I realized that all this provided a safe environment for my adult students.
