Interlinking and conveyor systems for hot forglngs
We are special ist in the material handling equipment for the forging industry. We deli ver lifting and tipping units, vibrating and hopper feeders for induction furnaces, fast running infeed chain conveyors to hammers or forge presses, all kinds of interlinking conveyor units between upset-, final forge- , and hot trimming presses.
For these purposes we deliver duplex or multi- chain conveyors, wire mesh and steel hinged belt conveyors, heavy duty hinged steel plate and apron conveyors, steel link belt conveyors as weil as all kinds of vibrating chutes, vibrating feeders, and vibrating conveyors, chain drag conveyors as weil as all kinds of pneumatic pushers, transfer and handling units, solid steel roller conveyors and fast running table conveyors. For discharging, batching, and feeding operations we deliver different types of lifting/tipping units (mechanical or hydraulic operations) up to 6000 Ibs (3 tons) loads.
We are worldwide specialists in high temperature transport and conveying systems for many years. The part weights may vary from very light hand tools to heavy truck axles or huge bulldozer teeth. We have experience in cooling systems from forging heat, in annealing , and tempering of forged parts.

For fully automatic hot forging machines (National, Hatebur, Nedschroeff, Schuler) we have developed steep discharging multi-Iane conveyors with high abrasiveresistant flights and guiding elements of a newly designed manganese hard steel to double or even tri pie the life time of ordinary hardened roller chains.
For controlled cooling from forging temperatures (BY-cooling line in TTT curve) we deliver complete cooling conveyors with heavy duty fans and controlled air streams on the hot forgings to cool them in designated and controlled speed. We can deliver this equipment for all kinds of light or heavy weight forgings. We have Engineered a special cooling conveyor for sensitive small and long forgings in order to avoid bending defects (in connection with hot forging hammers).
Wire mesh belt conveyors for use around all types of forging and trimming presses
Dur wire mesh belt conveyors are chain-guided and -driven. Roller chains on both belt edges with hardened rolls move and carry the belt. The wire mesh belts are made of high resistant round steel wires. Running sideplates border the eftective belt width and flights assist steep ascension. The electric 3-ph gear motor drive is protected by a friction clutch or by a current control relay (without delay).
The belt chains are guided on steel rails of Manganese -Hard - Steel with almost no wear during the years of running. Dur hinged steel belt conveyors are mainly used for trimmings and slugs.
Chain-drag conveyors will be used for very heavy parts and limited height of the conveyor body.

can be accommodated. During tipping, the lifted customers container will be fixed automatically within the lifting platform housing. The lifting speed will be switched down (pole changing) to a lower rate for discharging.
For lifting and tipping heavy loads to more than 6 ft (2 m) height, our lifting units come with automatie safety and stopdevices that will stop and carry the load in case of a broken chain. (According to US-OSHA and European-CE safety laws).

For tipping heavy steel containers we can deliver hydraulic tipping units for 1 , 2 or 3 tons.
For feeding jet steel grid blasting chambers we deliver skip hoists to discharge box containers up to 3 tons per load directly into the blasting chamber.
The complete blasted cold forgings will then be discharged and transported on a heavy duty vibrating or steel apron conveyor in connection with heavy duty flat plastic/rubber belt conveyor for visual control purposes (forge mistakes, notch defects, ect.)

We deliver complete drive and belt tension stations for continuos belt furnaces as weil as all types of wire mesh and steel hinged belts.

We deliver complete roller conveyor systems (using diabolo rolls with hardened inside surfaces) for feeding to cold and warm billet shearing machines. We also deliver complete rad magazines and rod decollating units in order to feed automatically into forging machines (Hatebur, National, Schuler, Nedschraef, ect.). Too cold or too warm rods can be retransported to a special chain bed conveyor to store them temporarily for re-use or new heat treatment (see picture nr. 39). There are a great variety of conveyors and handling systems in connection with inductive heating equipments for steel rads that we can deliver.

For short cut steel rads we deliver hopper loaders with inside sorting elements to discharge the rads in a special predetermined orientation. To eliminate too cold or too hot short steel rods we deliver swivel chute at the induction ovens discharge end before handling the part to the forge press. For fast transport between upsetting and forging press, our multi-chain conveyors are used [up to 3 Ws (0.9 m / s)]. We are specialists for fast handling of hot rads and forgings.

We deliver a wide variety of cooling conveyor systems for almost all different types of hot forgings, even for the safety parts for the automotive industry. To assure that no damage to long tool parts can occur our trunk manipulators are used to carry the hot forgings from the small side space beside the forging hammer to an attached cooling wire mesh belt conveyor with automatie smooth discharge onto the belt surface.
