Key Scholarship Requirements

• Undertake and complete approved Program
• Two years work in home country
• To have developed and implement a realistic and
achievable re-integration plan
• If you do not meet Government and Scholarship
requirements it may result in debt and termination of

Reintegration Plans
• A list of potential or proposed tasks/responsibilities
• Revisit the plan regularly and discuss with others whilst
in Australia
• Discuss plan with employer upon return home
• Work towards implementing plan upon returning home

Be SMART SMART is a convenient acronym for the set of criteria that a goal must have in order
for it to be realised by the goal achiever:
Specific detail what your goal is and how you will meet it. Outline the benefits of
achieving the goal.
Measurable make sure progress towards goal completion can be measured.
Actions what steps will help you achieve your goal? Are they achievable?
Realistic the goal must be something that can be done. Acknowledge your
abilities and any limitations. Is the goal in line with your values, desires,
ethics, life purpose?
Timely set a deadline for achieving the goal
John wants to complete a Masters Degree in Public Health at the UNSW within 1.5
years and return to Jamaica to implement a smoking related public health initiative in
his workplace

Actions Complete 12 subjects over 1.5 years.
