APPROACH

An approach is axiomatic. It describes the nature of the subject matter to be taught. It states a point of view, a philosophy, an article of faith - something which one believes but cannot necessarily prove. It is often unarguable except in terms of the effectiveness of the methods which grow out of it.

• It´s a method of teaching people to read and pronounce words by learning

the sounds of letters, letter groups, and syllables.

PHONICS

• Also, teaching reading by training beginners to associate letters with

their sound values.

DIGITAL LITERACY

Digital literacy is concerned with wider aspects associated with learning how to effectively find, use, summarize, evaluate, create, and communicate information while using digital technologies, not just being literate at using a computer.

MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES

• It´s mental abilities to create, assimilate and understand information to use properly to solve problems.

TARGET LANGUAGES

• It´s the language you want the document translated into.

MOTHER TONGUE

• It´s the first language that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic identity.

ESL

EFL

• English as a Foreign Language.

SILENT PERIOD

• It´s an interval or time during which students feel unable to communicate orally in the foreign language.

ACQUISITION vs LANGUAGE

• Acquisition is a process of learning and leanning is a process of gaining skill or awareness.

TPR

• Total Physical Response.

• It can be considered as a from of communicative language teaching.

DRILLS

• It's exercises and practices with being made in order to acquire knowledge.
