What to include: - Personal contact information so that the recruiter can get in touch with you.Short introduction that summarizes who you are and why you’re a great candidate for the role. - A list of your education and training achievements, followed by a reverse chronological list of your employment history.

What NOT to include:- Personal details such as date of birth, relationship status, gender, health problems or disabilities.- Too much information about your hobbies and outside interests, this isn’t important and wastes valuable resume space.

Then proof check again. - Make sure the lay-out makes your resume easy to read so the recruiter can pick out the information they are looking for quickly. - Use size 11 text and use a black or near-black font colour so it is neat and easy to read.

Your resume is the first impression you get to make, so make sure you take the time to craft a great resume and make that first impression an outstanding one.
