Programming areas:

Check-In Table

Have a troop run the check in table by handing out the

“passports”, drawing tickets, and having

someone to keep the Scouts in line patient. Maybe they can teach them a cheer or song!

Goal Setting Make use of the

hundreds of craft ideas that your troop,

Pinterest, or Lil’ Brownie Bakers have

available.

Technology

Have a cute photo booth set up for Scouts to take photos! Focus on Online Etiquette with tips on how to market safely online. Have a Digital Cookie handout for Scouts to bring home to parents.

Selling Skills

Encourage the girls to role play to practice interacting with their customers. The more they practice, the more confidence they will gain. Have “customers” ask them questions about cookie ingredients.

Have fun crafts or activities to help

the Scouts learn the ingredients and

descriptive words for each cookie.

Product Knowledge

Booth Marketing

Give the girls an opportunity to

think about how they will

creatively market their booths. Pass out Bling your

Booth fliers.

Rewards Parade This will give an

opportunity to the girls to see the

rewards. This also helps them with

their goal setting!

Other Programming Areas

Gift of Caring Explain why and how the donations are important

Safe Selling Safety in selling online and in person

Financial Literacy Making change, filling out bank deposits, counting money

Some helpful tips:Recruit one troop per station. Larger troops can have 2 stations. The will run the station during the event.

Use the Sample Incentives from the previous year for a couple of drawing prizes.

Have the check in table give out a passport encouraging the troops to visit every station.

Some helpful tips:Call council for cookie samples. They base how many boxes receive on how many attendees you have.

This is a troop event. Safety Activity Checkpoints need to be observed.

Have a “hang out” area for those Scouts who run through the stations quicker than others. Offer them a cookie picture to color!

Some helpful tips:Jan. 17th is Remembrance Day. Have a Moment of Silence to honor Juliette Gordon Lowe’s passing.

Pinterest! Lil’ Brownie Bakers! They have the best ideas for crafts for the stations!

Have a microphone and background music. After all, it is a party!

Not all troops will be able to attend. Offer to order

them some Kickoff Patches with your Fun

Patch order. They can get together with another

troop or two, holding their own “Mini Rally”.
