BRANDERBOOTS - Join the Branderboots on our next hike! Bring lunch to enjoy after the 10:30 worship service, then head out with our intergenerational group. Join us TODAY at Forest Hill Park, located at 4021 Forest Hill Ave. Richmond, VA 23225. Forest Hill Park is listed in Virginia's Historic Register. The park was once a quarry, an estate and then an amusement park. The park hosts tennis courts, picnic shelters, a children's playground, and many popular paths and trails for walking and jogging. A partial wetland, much wildlife can be viewed in the park. The paths to the wetland are steep so wear comfortable shoes and consider bringing your hiking stick. SACRED CIRCLE DANCE - Sacred Circle Dance will be offered on Wednesday, June 1st from 11-11:45AM in the Fellowship Hall. Dances will be shown and danced. For more information, please see Tammy Tipton-Nay. SOFTBALL - The church plays in a mildly competitive co-ed softball league on Friday nights. The next game is June 3rd at 8:30PM at Ironbridge Park, field #6. If you are interested in playing, please contact Jeff Branyon at 320-3616 or jrbranyon@aol.com. SPEAKER’S BREAKFAST - The next Speaker's Breakfast will be Saturday, June 11th at 8 AM in the multi-purpose room. Our speakers will be Tom Byer and Greg Jastrzemski of Byer Kleinschuster Wealth Management Group with UBS. They will provide insightful information about finances, retirement, and the market with respect to the current economic and political environments. All men and women are welcome! MEN’S BIBLE STUDY - Continuing on Wednesdays at 8AM, we have a six-week study of Tony Evans' "Kingdom Agenda" using his book and videos. It is a great time to join our group of laid-back Bible studiers. WHERE IS GOD IN STAR WARS - Continuing Sunday, June 5th at 9AM, this is a new intergenerational Sunday School class, designed for middle school students on up. More information is available from Steve Begg at southernbeggs@verizon.net TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY - This adult Sunday School class will read and discuss one chapter of Bill Hybels' classic book each Sunday at 9AM. The class, which will meet through August, will focus on practical ideas for slowing down to be with God. For more information, contact Linda Saunders or by phone at 804-501-8868. DISCIPLE 1 - This 34-week in-depth study of the Bible is one of the most popular and significant programs the United Methodist Church has offered in its long history. BUILDING CLOSER NEEDED - We need someone to lock up the building after church on the Sundays in July. Could you help? If so, please contact Ben Handzel or sign-up on the bulletin board in the reception hallway.
Sunday School for children (ages 3 - 5th grade), youth (6th - 12th grade), and adult small groups meets upstairs at 9:00 AM.
Children’s Church (ages 4 - 5th grade) meets upstairs
after Children’s Time at the 10:30 AM Service.
Childcare for infants and children up to age 4 is available in the Nursery located in the entryway.
At the rear of the Sanctuary, rocking chairs are available for parents who would like to rock their infants.
Please join us for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 -10:30 AM. Your coffee is welcome during morning worship!

FAMILY VBS 2016 - Family VBS will be held June 19 - 23, from 6-8PM. Registration is now open. Forms are in the entryway literature rack and are due back by June 12th. FIT 4 FAITH - This Intergenerational Sunday School Class, meeting in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00, continues with a focus on Neighbors. You are invited to support Cindy and her mission work in Haiti throughout the month of June by using your Communion Offering envelope.
