2. The UGR is the favourite destination for European exchange

3. The UGR offers a wide selection of high quality academic
programmes with a clear international vocation. In the 2016/17 academic year the UGR offers:

103 master’s programmes including: 3 Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+, 6 bilingual (Spanish-English) and 2 taught entirely in English
27 doctoral programmes in three interdisciplinary doctoral schools
And an extensive offer of expert courses, summer schools and on-line courses.
4. Student can also learn Spanish and other languages with the
10.000 local and international students who enroll each year in courses offered by the UGR’s Centre of Modern Languages, Confucius Institute (Chinese), Russkiy Mir Centre (Russian) and Chair of Arabic Al-Babtain.

7. The UGR´s schools and campuses merge directly

THE CENTRE FOR MODERN LANGUAGES
For detailed information regarding the courses and exams offered by the CLM please visit: www.clm-granada.com The University of Granada's Centre for Modern Languages (CLM) offers both local and international students a multicultural and multilingual environment where world perspectives and traditions are exchanged daily. Over 5,000 students from 35 different countries around the world come yearly to the CLM to study Spanish language and culture, while Spanish students study other modern languages in the classrooms right next door. Recognized by the Cervantes Institute for excellence in the delivery of a broad array of language programmes, the CLM is a pioneer in Spanish language instruction for international students, with origins that date to the delivery of its first programme nearly 50 years ago. Upon arrival, students take a language placement test and are placed into one of nine levels of Spanish language taught at the CLM. Utilizing a communicative approach in the classroom and the most up-to-date technologies, highly qualified faculty provide students with a programme of instruction designed to immerse them fully in the language. Special emphasis is given to interactions in real-life situations. The CLM provides many additional services including free WiFi, accommodation with host families or in shared flats and medical insurance.
SPANISH LANGUAGE AND

PROGRAMMES
Modern Language Courses Students can begin or continue their studies in
other modern languages offered at the CLM (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian and Swedish) or in conjunction with the Chair for Arabic Al-Babtain, the Confucius Institute (Chinese) and the Russkiy Mir Centre (Russian).

eLADE The CLM at the University of Granada also
offers an on-line Spanish proficiency test for the certification of B1 and B2 levels.
The oral component of the test is conducted via Skype. Test takers can sit the exam anywhere in the world (in a venue authorized by the CLM).

Intensive Spanish Language Courses are offered every month of the year (January – December). Intensive classes are taught 4 hours/day, 5 days/week, for duration of 2, 3 or 4 weeks. (See the online Calendar for exact dates.)
The Hispanic Studies Course and the
Spanish Language and Culture Course, are semester-long programmes in which students combine the study of Spanish language with elective classes selected from a wide range of options in areas such as economics, history, politics and literature.
Intensive Spanish Language and Culture
Courses are offered during the summer months (June, July and August). Students are enrolled in 5 hours of class per day, 5 days/week, for 4 weeks and combine Spanish language study with elective classes chosen from various subjects.
