• March 2006 – Left paid employment position to work for one key client as a sole trader under my own name
• September 2006 – Engaged in YEP (young entrepreneur program), a six month program for young entrepreneurs.
• November 2006 - Company business name registered• December 2006 - Company branding and website established• January 2007 – Matisse born. Took on two interns from University of
the Sunshine Coast and started to welcome more clients. Ran database building competition on mysunshinecoast.com.au including survey.
• March 2007 – Company holds first educational/lead generation event in Maroochydore. 45 in attendance at 2 hour evening workshop.

for company. IT invested in - purchase of new laptop, VOIP to reduce phone bill, wireless networking so two work stations with internet connection.
• May 2007 – Business alliance with New Zealand company negotiated and company began to accept leads as their ‘Australia office’
• July 2007 - Named as a finalist in Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network awards under 30 category. Feature on a segment on ‘career mums’ on A Current Affair prime time national TV.
• Sept 2007 – Named Queensland Small Business Champions Young Entrepreneur

• July 2008 – Featured on Channel 9, Sky Business Channel and Qantas in-flight TV (domestic) as part of a segment on a new business show, also Management Magazine in New Zealand
