A large cast and fun variety of songs will give every parent a reason to be proud. This is a child-friendly adaptation of Dickens’ holiday classic – and it will be perfect timing along with Disney’s movie version!

Based on the original hit movie, this hilarious musical will have all of Garner sporting a sweet tooth! Features include awesome special effects, lots of leading roles for the Drama Team, and the opportunity for EVERY STUDENT in Garner to participate as Oompa Loompas.

“Willy Wonka”Drama Team will make special invitations and goodie bags for the children of the Pythian Home and the Bunkhouse in Weatherford. They will be treated to a night full of sweet treats and magical memories.

Students participating in The Junior Theatre Festival (January in Atlanta) will need to pay their own way.
To raise funds:
We could offer face painting ($3) and sell bottled water and popcorn ($1) during TRICK OR TRUNK!
We could also host a “Parents’ Night Out” for Christmas shopping in early December. We would plan games,
crafts, and a movie in the gym ($5).
To raise funds for “Willie Wonka”We will host a Classroom Candyland Competition!
Classes will race to sell the most WONKA BARS.
Some bars will contain “golden tickets” with prizes donated by the community.
The winning class will get a candy making and cake decorating party!
