ChefJulieFrancishasfondmemoriesoftripstoPariswithherfamilytoexperiencethemarketsandthechef-ownedbistrostheyloved.InherprofessionalcareerasanacclaimedCincinnatirestaurateurandchefofAioliandNectarrestaurants,shehaslongbeenanadvocateofseasonalandlocalsourcing.Juliehasparticipatedinmanyculinaryeventssuchas1Night12Kitchens,CincinnatiFoodandWineClassic,Luminosity,andZoofari,andwashonoredtocookatTheJamesBeardHousewithotheresteemedchefs.ChefFrancisstartedNectarPersonalChefServicesin2017asacommitmenttoprovidingdelicious,healthymealsforfamilieswithbusylifestyles.

DonnaCovrettbeganhercareerintheculinaryindustryasapastrychefbeforedivingintofoodjournalism—5yearswiththealt-weeklyCityBeat,and8yearsasthediningeditorforCincinnatiMagazine.In2014sheco-authoredacookbookforChefDanWright’srestaurantSENATE,andlaunchedCincinnatiFood+WineClassic,afestivalfeaturingchefs,foodartisans,brewers,winemakers,andstorytellersshowcasingtalentsthroughdemos,seminars,competitions,andtastings.Alongsideherculinarycareer,Donnahasspent22yearsteachingyogaandtherapeuticmovementinpublicclassroomsandworkplace,aswellasworkingindividuallywithclientsintheirhomes.

ChefReneeSchuler,ownerofEatWellCelebrationsandFeasts,isknownforherbeautifulseasonalfood,hospitableservice,andcreativepresentation.Asapremiercaterer,EatWellservesmanyoftheregion’sexclusiveeventstakingplaceiniconicvenues,homes,andworkplace—includingCincinnatiBallet,CincinnatiOpera,CincinnatiSymphonyOrchestra,andMajorLeagueBaseball—andcancountfamousfacessuchasMarthaStewartandMarkZuckerbergamongherclients.Outsideofrunningherbusiness,Reneelovestotravel,countingtheregionsandfoodcultureofsouthernFranceasoneofherfavorites.

ChefMariadelaTorre,ownerofSugarandSaffroncookingschoolinSaint-Clement,France,hasbeencookingfor30years,earningaCordonBleudiplomaalongtheway.FluentinEnglish,French,andSpanish,sheteachesinternationally,specializinginspicesandsugarcraft,continuingherstudiesannuallyinIndiaandThailand.Mariahasalsostartedanon-profit,theLittleConservatoryofFlavors,tocollect,record,andteacholdrecipesthatarenotbeingpassedontotoday’smicrowavegeneration.
