Site History Established in 1940 as a pilot training base Comprised approximately 1,560 acres Used by Navy to deactivate ships following

WWII Transferred to City of Green Cove Springs

in 1963 Sold to J. Louis Reynolds and developed

as the Reynolds Industrial Park

western edge of industrial park

Used as equipment storage area

Wooded, undeveloped area

groundwater samples
