Dog House (First Week)

ReflectionStrengths:

• Successfully create my own design

which is dog house.

• Using with component and material are

easy to create design.

• Doing with shadow make more

Challenges:

• I need to learn how to draw detail with

ReflectionStrengths:

• Using with Push/Pull and Copy.

• Rotate tool is very useful for rotate to

component.

Challenges:

• Having fun when using by

Push/Pull.

Opportunity

• Successfully create stair.

• Can do different style of stairs by your own way.

Risk

• A little bit hard to do with rotate tool.

Handrails(Second Week)

ReflectionStrengths:

• Using with Follow me .

• Successfully create a stair with

handrail.

• Can do different style of handrails

by own creation.

Challenges:

• Need to focus while using follow

me tool .

Risk• When I using with follow me tool, it is a little

bit hard to pick up the point because

there is 3 axils in sketch up which is red,

blue and green.

Weakness

• Need to think which surface want to draw

when using with follow me tool.

• If pick up point is wrong, your design will

be change.

Patterns(Second Week)

ReflectionStrengths:

• In this assignment, I using only rectangle

tool.

• Using with color is more attractive.

Challenges:

• Can do different pattern shape which is

floor tile, wall or celling especially useful

for the interior design.

Opportunity• Even though I used only rectangle

tool, it gave different feeling.

• Depend on the height and pattern,

ReflectionStrengths:

• Using with Circle and arc tool.

• Successfully created Piazza del

Campidoglio

• To become more attractive, i

used with color and component.

Challenges:

• When I delete small part, it make

me confused which one need to

remove.

• The rotate tool is interesting to

use.

Risk

• Be careful using with arc tool, it is hard

to pick up the mid point.

• I drew with twice which I pick the mid

Malevich Supremacist (Fourth Week)

ReflectionStrengths:

• Using with various tools especially push-

pull.

• Import photo as a background

• Can adjust shadow and fog.

• Created a building whatever we want

which is based on Malevich Supremacist

Plan .

Challenges:

• When I used 3d tree, it was hard to copy

and move, it took a time.

• Using with scale tool is not easy to use

when I copied too much and made

group.

Risk• Having fun when creating

• When exported the image, it

is look like cartoon.

• Different with 3d-max and

component, it was hard to

tool, feel like too big file size.

Experimenting Walls (Fifth Week)

ReflectionStrengths:

• Created with different walls.

• Made with different style by using with

push/pull, offset and arc tool .

• Turn on Geometry mode is easy to

subtract especially curve wall.

Challenges:

• It is interested in using with arc tool

because when I finished it, it became a

concave wall.

• Easy to create the walls with different

pattern and design.

Opportunity• It is useful for interior design because

easy to do

• Can manage what you want to create

with your own idea.

• Useful for partition walls, otherwise it is

also helpful for the landscaping.

Geometric Walls(Sixth Week)

Reflection

Strengths:

• By using with two geometric form

can create branch of domes and

make furniture.

Challenges:

• It is not easy to do that when pick

up the point.

• When connect two geometries

form, need to concentrate.

Risk• Before doing the intersect face,

be careful don’t miss the point.

Folding Walls(Seventh Week)

Reflection

Strengths:

• To become a pavilion, I copied of

one simple form a lot of time and

folding it as much as I want.

Challenges:

• Using with rotate tool is not easy to

use for the first time.

• Need more practice to use rotate

tool .

Fold a paper air-plane with back ground

Risk

• Using with protractor and rotate

tools are difficult to pick up the

point for me for the first time

especially the instructor said do

not release on the mouse.

• But I forget it and release a

couple times and do it over and

over.

Opportunity

• Can create verity of roof by using

rotate and protractor .

Folding Experiment (Eighth Week)

Risk• I always forget to press shift button

to get the axis line which part I want

to fold.
