For over sixty years LAB has been designing and building turnkey Flue Gas Cleaning (FGC) covering three main activities : Waste, Power / Biomass and Industry.

LAB has joined the CNIM Group in 2001 and comprises a staff of 200 highly skilled specialists split up in three sites : Lyon (France), Stuttgart (Germany) and La Seyne sur Mer (France) with subsidiaries and local partners in Denmark, Switzerland, UK, Poland, CZ Republic, Romania and USA.

LAB devotes considerable efforts in R&D enabling to propose a large portofolio of advanced Flue Gas Cleaning (FGC) systems from dry to semi-dry and wet technologies including catalytic systems and condensation units, protected by numerous patents.

The Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) portfolio for Power Plants application includes semi-dry and wet technologies to fulfil the most stringent IED Directives for coal fired and biomass boilers.

LAB has in the recent years delivered turnkey semi-dry FGD, lime or sodium bicarbonate reagent based, as well as wet FGD, limestone and lime based or sea water scrubbers.

Well-known and international companies have selected LAB to retrofit their industrial and utilities boilers with robust and efficient FGD.
