Goal

Leverage social media to help promote brand experiences before, during, and after conventions & events.

Following are 10 quick-hits of best practices in social media.

#HCEAInnovate

#1: Corporate policy

#HCEAInnovate

• Corporate code of conduct that provides guidelines

for employees who post content on the Internet

either as part of their job or as a private person.

• Does your company have a social media policy?

• If not, get one! If so, review it and share it.

3. Find and follow influencers

Influencers can build relationships with the people who can

build relationships for you. Whether an influencer's

audience is small or large, an influencer can reach others via

their blogs and social networks that your brand may not be

able to.

#3: Start following

#4: Use “Influencer marketing”

#HCEAInnovate

• Social-media marketing and content marketing together: influencers are expected to spread the word through their personal social channels

• Who are you trying to influence?

• Extend your reach through influencer channels

• Boost credibility with influencer messaging on your own channels
